I wasn't sure of the concept for this place when I first walked in. Coffee house/brewery? It was definitely a breath of fresh air compared to other bars in the area. The main problem is the wait staff. Not that they are bad, but there just aren't enough of them. No one comes to your table to serve you. You have to keep going up to the bar for drinks. That gets old! And what's up with closing at 11pm on a Saturday night???????? I'M AN ADULT! Overall it was a good experience. The specialty drinks are very tasty and the growlers are pretty cool.

Well, being from SoCal.. HA, just kidding. I hate when people start posts that way.  Who friggin cares if our from "Southern California" They should ban you from Yelp.

Bummer I didn't find this place until the night before we left.  Was super busy (Friday night) and getting a table was a bit of a Gladiator style Tag Team effort, but everyone was doing it so no one got offended. (and seriously is was like only 6:30pm), but they ended up having a band so maybe that is why everyone was early(?)

FYI if you want a quieter place to catch up with people, this is not it at all if they have a band going, it was super loud. But people were even up dancing a bit in front so they didn't care.

Beer was really good I thought (get the flight and pick your own to try), and the crowd was a nice mix of ages.

Burger was really good, a tad pricey, (and here I will insert arrogant comment about "where I am from"), I am used to steeper prices, but I thought was a tad out of line for the area compared to other places I have bought food.

But that being said, the burger my husband got  was really good and also, a WAY better value, in my humble opinion  than the sliders I got.  I eat "girl" amounts of food and I could have easily polished off 2 rounds of sliders, but the burger he got was plenty big.

Overall the best place I had visited the entire week.

What a great concept, coffee in the morning and beer in the afternoon!  It is great to finally have a brewery in town that will serve a full pint of beer.  Being a fan of IPA's I have to say they know how to make an excellent hoppy beer!  The riverwater IPA is my recommendation if you like the citrusy and the Pack back is a great traditional type IPA.  The best part is they also serve some of the tastiest regional craft brews that are available for growler fills as well!  I know the food is a seperate business, but they are all served in the same shared space.  The price of the burgers seemed steep until I saw what I was in for, you better be hungry or ready to share.  The Sliders are more like a normal burger perfect for 2 people to share.

Obviously this place just opened not to long ago. It is split between a coffee shop and a brewery. The environment was pretty decent, especially as it relates to Great Falls, the bar tender was very attentive and was on point every time I wanted a beer. Speaking of the beer, it was good, but not as cold as I like. Unfortunately I didn't try the food, I wanted to give another restaurant in Great Falls another shot. This potentially could have given it another star. Maybe next time I make a journey to GF I will give it a shot!

Overall experience - this is what I would have expected from a brewery. Nothing that "wowed" me.

The beers here are pretty good, however the service has been disappointing. I've had to wait 10 minutes every time at the bar (when it wasn't even crowded) because they seem to be perpetually understaffed. There was only one bartender both times. The Front has the opportunity to be great, much like Faster Basset, but the service element just isn't there. The bartender isn't super friendly and he makes you feel rushed when choosing a beer or asking for tastings. Once the service is up to par with the beer, it will be a place I'll enjoy going to. They have better prices than Bowser Brewing Company.

This place just opened in the same space as Faster Bassett, and it is a great addition!  I just tried the bloody Caesar, which at $10 seems a little steep, but is totally worth every penny.  Garnished with bacon, pickled okra, pepperocini, pickled baby corn, olives, hand-trimed thin strips of celery, pickled baby asparagus, and smoked Gouda shavings, the drink could be a meal in itself.  And unlike some places that use garnishes to cover up subpar mixers, the custom-spiced juice was delicious!  Can't wait to go back and try another of the cocktails that look like they could rival any big city "mixologist." And the atmosphere isn't bad either.  (check out reviews of Faster Bassett for more on the setting.).
