Frontier Restaurant

Friendly small town service, and the only sitdown place in Oberlin. My Grandma takes our family here, they handle our large party very well. The food is good and homemade, but nothing to write home about. The soup of the day and salad bar is pretty good, along with the Reuben.

Well it really is one of the only places to eat in oberlynn so you can't say too much bad about it. But the thing is the food is not really all that great. Okay I will give it to them, they do make a mean breakfast and if this review was all about breakfast it would be a 4 star review but its not...its about dinner too. And to be honest it is really not all that. I'll give it to them, they try and the service is nice enough. You know it's all that small town charm and all. But really I would say eat here for breakfast then skip it for dinner and go to the subway if you have to.

Cold rainy day. Grumpy parents. Ultimate BLT, vegetable beef soup, spicy chicken sandwich appear. Happiness! BLT the best ever outside of our kitchen. Soup and sandwich delicious. Staff friendly and efficient. The type of place you hope for in a town, but rarely find.
