I have liked it pretty well anytime we have gone as a party of two. The food isn't amazing, kinda bland sometimes but it is a nice atmosphere and good food.
We have been to the one in Hanford as a party of around 15 and the same for the Visalia Fugazzi's... It is incredible the POOR POOR service you get as a large party.
You get one server and that server gets no help.
We had to ask for bread in both situations! They brought one round for HALF of the table the time in Hanford and in Visalia  we just had to ask about an hour into service...which to me, is not cool.
It is just hard for one server to take excellent care of a large party and have other tables. It would be nice if on Large parties they had 2 servers ESPECIALLY because gratuity is added at 18% poor service or not.
You would think they would want the large parties choosing their business for dinner, that is some good $$!!
We ended up canceling our dessert order because after being there for 2.5 hours you are kinda just ready to go home. It was like that at both locations... very consistent...but not in a good way.
The first time I went to Fugazzis in Hanford, I was not impressed. I decided to give it another shot at the urging of my wife and I was glad I did. The food and service was 100% better from the first visit! The menu is large and has a lot of good choices. They have a wine list and a small bar at the entrance that is good for before or after dinner. The main entrees can be pricey, but overall it's not bad on the wallet for a place that is a little more upscale than the standard Hanford restaurant. This is a good location to bring out of town guests or a date for a nice meal.
Review Source:This star is purely for the design of the restaurant. It's fantastic in here. The music is great. No commercials anymore. Im here with my mon and we were not greeted when we came in, even though there was an employee who saw us come in. We wondered to the back where we saw two couples eating. After a few minutes, a waitress came. After 10 minutes our menus and bread came. Finished that and asked for more. 15 minutes have passed no bread or check in from waitress. We'll come back for design inspiration. Bread WAS the best part of our visit here.
Review Source:I really like this place, as an alternative to Chili's, Applebees etc. They have good sandwich choices and entrees. The meal for 2 is really a great deal since it comes w/ an appetizer sampler, two 6oz filet mignon and 3 prawns and you get a side of pasta, veggies and two garden salads. Then you can finish it w/ a dessert and I believe it is roughly $54.
And you cant leave there w/ out ordering the BEST dessert in town...the XANGO. It is a deep fried tortilla filled w/ cream cheese and served w/ a scoop of ice cream w/ caramel and white chocolate sauce, although I would leave off the white chococlate as it is not very good, in my opinion. Friendly staff, no complaints
To be honest  the bread was the highlight of our dinner. I was under the misconception that in a restaurant as nice as this (It is beautiful) The food was gonna be awesome we got our bread with the dipping sauce (soo good) but unfortunately the pasta meh i could have made a better at home the prices arent bad at lunch the raviolis were ok and 1/2 off wine on Wednedays only at dinner :( thats literally the face i made. Our server did check on us often that is what the 3rd star is for.
Review Source:Dim lighting, music, soft leather booths, modern decor. Â It is an impressive place to walk into. Â We were seated pretty promptly, they served us some bread with flavored oil for dipping. Â Delish. Â I would guess it was made of garlic, parmesan, and parsley. Â Salty goodness. Â We ordered a ten inch jerk chicken pizza, and some spinach fettucini pasta. Â The sauce on the pizza was really thin, so it took away from the crispiness of the pizza. Â The chicken was dry and the bacon was chewy and hard. Â Other than that some great flavors on the pizza, and it is a little different so that rocks.
The pasta was fettucini with spinach, sun dried tomato, artichoke, feta cheese, and a red pepper sauce. Â Pretty damn good, however, what was unforgivable was my overdone pasta. Â Please, if you are an italian restaurant, you better damn well know how to cook some pasta. Â Al dente, man. Â I dont know if I can get over it. Â Ok, I'll let it slide, because they had so many other things on their menu that looked great. Â There was a Thai pizza. Â There was like ten or twelve wraps. Â The wraps had different flavored wrapping. (tortillas) Â Lots of pasta.
The other thing I have to say is that our waitress kind of sucked. Â Tried to flag her down like three times and she acted like didn't see us. Â We had been done, and obviously done, for like 20 minutes before I could get ahold of her to get a box. Â We were sitting right infront of the wait station. Â One of the waitresses was wearing tights as pants, when they were supposed to be dressed nice, it looked weird. Â The guys all looked pretty spiffy, the girls need to pick it up.
Went here for my nieces birthday... Arrived and no host or hostess for 5 minutes... Then we were seated and given menus and asked for drink orders... Drinks took awhile even though it was all non alcoholic... Server came back after awhile and took our orders and gave us bread... Quite a bit of time passed before our food came out... The menu had what looked like wannabe Italian fusion... Nothing really sounded good... I got chicken Marsala and it was subpar... Very subpar. Â My niece got something but promptly traded with my sister cuz she didn't like it much. The bread was the best part of the meal in my opinion... Service was slow but bearable... The inside is nice but they need to stop playing the radio and invest in xm radio or even pandora hearing commercials while I eat is a fail... I guess for this area it's as good as your gonna get but in Orange County this place would most likely go out of business... The food is pretty drab and they over charge for it also... It's too bad this place has potential... All they need is a new menu with food that tastes good and toss out that horrible fusion crap... The flavors don't blend well IMHO.
Review Source:When were first drove up to the place it looked liked it was close. All the lights were dim. Once we stepped in was really surprised, it had the look of a really elegant New York restaurant. The only disappointing part was that the waitress got my order wrong. I even commented to my friends before how awesome it was that she did not write down our orders. The awesome part is that she got their orders right. Their chicken alfredo was delicious, minus the cold chicken, which I just picked off.
Review Source:Been here several times and it just seems to be getting worse. But I will keep it simple and to the point.
Food is ok about what I would expect from Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill. Â
Wait staff is courteous but overloaded. Last night they only had 2 waiters. Our waiter specifically told us that he had 9 tables to cover. I only ask why would management do this? Last night was the third time we had been there and they were under staffed. This place has so much potential with the right management
Classy place for this part of the world. Food was above average. Service on a Tuesday night was pretty slow, but good quality. A little overpriced for what you get, but they can do that, because they're the best in town by far. The wine list has a healthy selection of local (Paso Robles) wines, which I love.
Review Source:Fugazzi's food was good. The service was slow. The male servers were dressed in shirts, ties and slacks and the females looked like they just rolled out of bed and came to work. The service was slow. It took 5 minutes to bring me some fresh parmesan cheese after my food was sitting on the table and my husband had started eating. The music was annoying and too loud for the ambiance they are trying to pull off. Menu is too big. The food was delish though.
