I am from Texas, so Carolina barbecue isn't exactly what I grew up on. Â Fuzzy's barbecue consists entirely of 1 offering - soggy pulled pork with sweet/sour sauce. Â No ribs, no sausage, no brisket, no other meats at all. Â The smoke flavor is so delicate I can't detect it. Â His tenderloin could have been prepared in a conventional oven. Â
I have had some excellent pulled pork barbecue in North Carolina - but Fuzzy's is a far cry from it.
However, Fuzzy does have an extensive non-barbecue menu. Â the place is friendly, the service is good, and prices are reasonable. Â I consider Fuzzy's more "American diner" than barbecue.
Try the Brunswick stew.
