The Gaslighter's Music Hall

Wierd, another Todd right before me... Anyhow, the Gaslighter is doing shows again, but not of the caliber it once was.
Other bands that once played there include:
Incubus
Insolence
(Hed) P.E.
Nuclear Rabbit
Papa Roach (ahh the good ol' days)
Those are just the bands I saw there with the exception of Incubus. My buddy saw it though.
Currently, they are booking live local acts that mainly caters to a younger 14-20 year old crowd, but they do serve beer and wine for the older patrons. A bit pricey, but they gotta keep the lights on somehow... Also, they have a "piano bar" event every Friday they just started. It's ok, I wish they'd have some larger names come through again though... and by the way, I bartend at the bar directly across the street-Oakwood Lounge. We are a dive bar, but if you're in the area, come have a drink here before the show ; )

Hella weird place. Do they even have shows here anymore??When I played in local bands from 98-03 this was the stop if you played on ol' Gilroy ( cue garkic soaked banjo music )

There wasn't really any sound system to speak of. I think they mic'ed the kick drum, if anything.

The inside looks like a fake barn, it's cavernous, with not very flattering acoustics. But the old man who used to run it was nice.

Strange venue. Has to be extinct, by now...
