  Stopped in on our way home from Placid after reading the reviews on Yelp. We were two of 7 people in the place at 5pm. We decided to eat at the bar that seemed more cozy than the dining room. Food (burger and panini) was great. Ubu beer perfect temp. Service only so so. Both bar tvs turned on to TruTv for 3 of those (regulars) people at the bar. Ugh! But would definitely visit again

  We stopped by here on the way to Montreal, and it was pretty delicious. The gang got a bunch of different food items, from burgers and sandwiches to the soup of the day.
  
  Recommendations: get the wings, salmon BLT, and try the Vermonster sandwich

  After a day of exploring the Adirondacks, I was looking for somewhere to have a reasonable, yet filling meal.  I came to George Henry's after seeing a banner on the side of the restaurant touting its award winning burgers and wings.  As a result, I decided to try one of their burgers.  The establishment has separate dining and bar areas.  The meat that they use for the burgers is indeed fresh, as are a number of the other ingredients that they use, and the cooks are not skimpy on what they will put on the burger.  You may have to pay extra for some of the burger toppings, however.  I will keep this place in mind if I am in the area.

  Just a great place to have some great food, reasonably priced drinks and in my opinion, great service.  I have always had excellent service at the bar - all of the bartenders are excellent.  Friendly and 99% of the time waiting with your next drink as you finish the first.  I really couldn't say enough positive things about this joint!

  This place has great food, can't go wrong with any of their fresh burgers or sandwiches. It's reasonably priced as well...pretty much everything on the menu is under $10. That said, both times I've been here the service was terrible. The servers were slow, inattentive, and both times messed up at least one part of the order. The appetizer came about 30 seconds before the meal and it's like pulling teeth to get a drink refill, I finally just went inside, found the soda machine, and filled it myself. Nobody said anything.
  
  If we got shoddy service inside, the time we ate on the deck it was nonexistent. Out of sight out of mind I suppose. A couple next to us walked out after 20 minutes waiting for drinks.  Neither time we went was it particularly busy or crowded, mid week dinner.
  
  Great food, just be prepared to wait. A lot.

  What a catch...
  
  on our way back home we stopped here for lunch. Friendly staff, good food and a typical hometown feeling...saved it on my TOMTOM for future visits to the area
