Great place to hang out with friends. A bit small but it has that familiar feel for regulars. Â The service was excellent. I just wish the burgers were bigger., especially for $5 . You can go to other pubs and get a bigger burger for less money. Other than that, great place I give it a good recommendation!
Review Source:Great place to hang out with friends, Good atmosphere, No smoking, Adults only, The food is awesome with large portions. Good place to watch a game with lots of Tv'S. Â Nice patio. When the weather is nice they have great bands outside which make it a good place to kick back. Upstairs they have pool and darts and a room you can rent out for parties. They also have Wi-Fi. Nightly food specials. Service is excellent and drinks are great.
Review Source:George's is the type of place you want to give 5 stars - cool location, great space, locally owned, etc. Â but until the owners decide to shell out $2.13 an hour and hire a waitron on a regular basis, 3 is the max. Â
I live in mid-town Tulsa, so I'm never going to be their regular customer in the best of circumstances, but the service here is absolutely atrocious. Â and this is NOT a slam on their staff (if one employee can be called a staff) - no human can provide good service while bartending and waiting tables for a crowd of 20-25 people downstairs plus another crew of people playing pool upstairs. Â it's insane that anyone would expect one bartender to be able to provide decent service for this many people. Â if you enjoy having refilled drinks and not having to get up from your table and go wait in vain at the bar for ten minutes to get your tab, then I can't recommend this place for you.
All this is a shame, because they are one or two employees from being a really great place. Â The food is good, it's non-smoking (!), the building is great, the ambience rocks...everything but the service makes George's a top-notch neighborhood pub. Â As a former member of the service industry, I find this place to be a real head scratcher. Â Avoid this place when they are busy if you'd like to check it out for yourself.
I'll rate George's for what it is and that's a pub and not a 5 star restaurant. Â They have a good but small selection of domestic and import draft beers plus the traditional spirits. Â If it is very busy it may take a little longer than usual to get your order but the staff always asks if you want something as they pass by your table. Â I've always encountered good crowds there who mind their own business or make casual conversation if you're at the bar. Â It is in Jenks so the clientele seems to always be a good crowd. Â The food is great, especially the spicy fish tacos and spicy hummus. Â I wouldn't classify this as a dive bar, it reminds me of the typical no frills pubs that I frequented in the UK .
Review Source:George's is a low key dive bar that's right off Main St in Jenks. We come here whenever we're in the area to just grab a few drinks and have some appetizers. It's a cool place to just sit back and relax. The service is a little slow, but it is what it is. This is a good place to just pass some time and hang out with friends.
