George's Restaurant and Pizza

This site has been many things -- a Chinese place, a Mexican place, and several types of greasy-spoon diners...  but George's is pretty cool.  I took my daughter there for lunch, and had a Bianca (white-pizza) calzone.  She had the spaghetti with marinara sauce.  Both were very good!  They also offer grinders, salads, steak, and a small selection of pasta dishes.

People complain that it's expensive, and it is by Spencer standards.  In a town that has mainly fast food, it's hard to have a place that offers dishes that range around $8-15 for dinner.  But compared to the rest of the world, where people sit down and eat freshly-made dishes, it's pretty nice.

The baklava was delish, too!  Yum!
