Stepping into Ginny's Place was like stepping into another world. Â Actually, it WAS stepping into another world.. that of small town, mid-America. Â Everyone knew everyone else, asking about family and crops while smoking and eating whatever food was laid out before them on their plate atop a red and white checkered table cloth.
My grilled cheese sandwich and fries were pretty good, although too salty. Â The waitress was friendly but seemed a little troubled or confused by the fact that neither my boyfriend nor myself ordered any meat. Â For lunch for the two of us, including tip, our bill came to $8 and some change. Â
The place was pretty clean but smoky. Â And just in case you didn't tease your hair up high enough, their bathroom has a can of Aquanet and the tools needed to perfect your 'do. Â Â
Quick, cheap, decent food.. right on the highway. Â I would stop here again if in the area and looking for a no-frills meal.
