The Glory Hole was awesome!! Man I miss that place. The owner and staff always took care of us during LPGA week and we will always remember them!! It's the best place on Tour!
The Glory Hole Pub & Eatery was well known and a staple business in this small town for over 16 years. It was the place to be. The owner and staff will be truly missed. Locals wish they still had there local pub and eatery that most called home.
Went here to meet up with friends while home for Christmas. Not only is it a bit of a dive - which is fine - the bartender went out of her way to be rude to us. First, she called my friend's husband a liar when he said he was getting a second drink for his wife, and then when he walked away from the bar in frustration, his bartender who turned out to be the owner walked over to my friend and I, after he had pointed out who he was getting the other drink for, in the back of the bar, flashlight in hand. "Do you have IDs?" she asked. We said yes, and reached for our purses, and I said in my confusion, "we showed them at the door..." She said, "I'm the owner, I can check your IDs twenty times if I want. I'm not interested in paying a $9,000 fine." She also was not interested in our business, I guess. Then instead of leaving it at that, she called over the bouncer and asked if he had checked our IDs. He asked if we had come in the back door. Then he looked at our IDs and said he remembered us. She told my friend again that she could do that as many times as she wanted, since it was her bar, and told my friend her husband "had a problem with her checking his ID" and "needs to settle down". Needless to say, I did not feel welcomed or feel the urge to buy a drink.
