I have never had anything I didn't like here. I lived near by for a couple years and got take out every other week or so. After moving back to California and coming back to visit Washington 2 years later, the owner still remembered me! She was excited to see me and wondered where on earth I had gone. Her service is always amazing and the food is always great. Plus great prices makes Golden Dragon III a must!
Review Source:Have been tempted to try this place for a while as I drove by because little places like this are either very good or very bad, of course I was hoping for the former. Â I ordered a variety of dishes to test them out and not a single one would even have been rated as acceptable. Â The deep-fried meat dishes were overly greasy with the oddest collection of chunks of meat I have seen since I traveled in China, but I expected to minuscule scraps covered with breading there. Â The stir fry dishes were utterly bland as if the restaurant tries to prove they don't have MSG by going in the opposite direction and leaving out any salt or any flavor at all. Â The food has failed my final test as well, cold Chinese in the morning. Â Normally the flavors of a Chinese dish meld better and the flavors of cold Chinese food the following morning just pop, but this food still remains utterly bland.
Review Source:The first time we went to this restaurant was on mothers day and i was about 16. I was with my whole family, and the place had just opened. We each ordered something different, thinking we could all share like we usually do, but when we got our food, it was all the exact same thing, but some of us got shrimp, some got chicken. It was very disheartening. The second time i went i was on a date, and he picked, so of course i went, but again, we both ordered two different items off the menu and we go the same thing but he got shrimp and i got chicken. we even had an appetizer that was around 7 dollars, but it was just four pieces of shrimp, the same kind that was on my plate. I keep forgetting that i hate this restaurant, but again, i went one last time and the same thing happened. The staff is always friendly and quick to seat you, the atmosphere is good, the food comes out fast, but the food is not tasty and it is all the exact same thing with yellow sauce and meat. I don't recommend unless you are ok with eating the same thing as everyone else at your table every time you go.
Review Source:Thanks to the email received from someone in relationship with the restaurant, I have downgraded my review from 2 stars to a single star. The mail was profane, insulting and the act of a small thinker. While yelp reviews IP information to track this person, I suggest you find an alternative to eating here as the bitter spirit, below average food and inflated prices are enough to make you wished you ate somewhere else. The latest review also shows a single star only confirming to all that this place is certified nasty!
Of course this is my opinion only, but feel free to look at the compliments and comments to my review.
We ordered our food to-go, honestly if we had eaten there instead I probably would have given it 2 stars because the lady who got our food ready was very very nice.
The food.... wow I was not impressed WHAT SO EVER. Â I ordered the D4 and my husband ordered the D5 so we could try a variety of items. Â What we got was 2 containers of fried food that all looked almost identical and we couldn't even tell it apart. Â A few sauces in separate containers that tasted very bland. Â Honestly we weren't even sure what was what... so I couldn't tell you what to avoid LOL. Â I substituted steamed rice for my meal and literally ended up only eating that. Â The coating they used on their fried meats was really thick and soggy. Â
We will not be ordering from here again.
This has to be some of the best Chinese food i've eaten in a while. Â I go in on a regular basis for the last 2 years & they have always been consistent. Â The restaurant is always very clean & bright, unlike some other Chinese restaurants. Â Food and service are both excellent! Â Highly recommend.
