Golden Wu Chinese Restaurant

You couldn't pay me to eat here. Ate here once ages ago, then the place got fined for taking the ducks from the city pond.

For a small town with limited restaurant choices this was a pleasant surprise.   I ordered the hot and sour soup and it was ok.  Nothing fancy and definitely not the usual recipe that one would expect as it seemed like a jazzed up egg drop soup but it did have plenty of fresh cabbage, mushrooms of multiple varieties, sprouts, and huge chunks of meat.

The entree I had was a good portion of fresh meat and veggies.   The menu stated that it was a spicy entree but they apparently forgot to add any of the spices and peppers.   It had a good flavor but I really was looking for a kick to clear my sinuses.  

Overall this was a decent place to eat which is a whole lot more than can be said about many of the other places to eat in town.   Try them out.   You should be pleasantly pleased with what you get.
