I have TWO words for you - WALLEYE SANDWICH!
The pan-fried walleye sandwich at Gordy's Place is awesome! We don't often leave the banks of the Manistee when we're in northern Michigan, but when we do it is often to head down to Gordy's Place for some beers, some walleye, and other perfectly fried treats! The draft selection is pretty limited, but we were super surprised to find Magic Hat #9 on tap.
You'd almost miss Gordy's from the road if you didn't know it was there, but you won't be disappointed - there is a homey and inviting atmosphere waiting for you inside.
Next summer we'll probably be back to get our sports fix!
