This place seems to have gone downhill in recent years...it used to be THE place to dine, and was always at least half full. We showed up on a Tuesday in early August, and it was practically deserted.  The steak I ordered medium came out very well done, and was so unpalatable I had to send it back (which I've done maybe two other times in my life). Hopefully it was just an off day, but it was a VERY off day.

As a 20+ year summer local, this is probably my favorite resort. The view is stunning and it has a ton of character. It certainly could use some updating, but the rickety dock gives it the charm. Drinks are reasonably priced and Roger pours em stiff. Huckleberry daqs are legendary. A must stop place for a few drinks when on the lake.

Huck Daqx  are very good, and it's an local institution that can't be missed.  However, it's in a state of disrepair, dock is a disaster waiting to happen.  But lots of good memories and local flavor.
