This place blew away my traveling companions and me. As others have mentioned, the interior woodwork is gorgeous. It's also a split tri-level, which gives it a feeling of grand spaciousness, with plenty of room to find your own little corner, even though the building isn't really that enormous. The bar is on the middle level, the bands play from the upper level, and the shuffleboard table is on the ground level.

Ah, the shuffleboard table. We were so happy to find it. Extra-long, and in beautiful shape. Beware, it has a slight curve to the north (toward the middle of the room.)

The place was built as a hotel/restaurant for the railroad company, and in business in its current incarnation since the early 70s, we were told.

Wonderful bar with a Irish pub feel. Bartenders are always friendly. Cash only though. Not the best Guinness I've ever had but it's the only place in Tahlequah that has it on tap.  Shuffleboard table downstairs, patio to smoke on, indoor is smoke free. I really enjoy the laid back atmosphere and woodwork.

The decor here is awesome- it feels every bit like an Irish pub. There is a huge selection of beers- so many in fact that they need a menu to list them all!
However they only take cash, which is sometimes inconvenient if you're an avid card swiper. Also, the prices are a little high if you're accustomed to $2.50 longnecks at your local watering hole.

Granny's is one of the most distinct places in Tahlequah. The exterior reminds one of an Irish pub. The interior is richly decorated with signs and mugs that only a true aficionado of good beer and good single malt would dare to display. The bar stocks in bottles almost every beer you can get in the state of Oklahoma. There are, I believe, 7 taps. Two of which are dedicated to wine, go figure! The other 5 are dedicated to some of the finest brews ever set in a keg. There's always Guinness and Harp on tap. One is dedicated to a brew from Marshall Brewing based in Tulsa. The other taps rotate out. As of this writing they dispense beautiful Marzen Oktoberfests.

The service is friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. Just a warning...if you're looking for a sports bar, go elsewhere. If you're looking for bar snacks or food, go elsewhere. If you're looking for the finest adult beverages in a fantastic environment and want to pay with cash, Granny's Attic is for you.
