Granny's Catfish House

This is good Mississippi food, pure and simple.

I have a lot of family in the area and the few chances I get to come back and visit, this is the place we go. It's a mom & pop shop that's been around for a while & does not disappoint. Granny's fried catfish filets & hush puppies are the standard I hold all other southern food to.

Granny's is out in the country (it is Soso, MS after all) so you'll get a collection of very friendly locals who come not only for the food, but also to see other friends. You can order a meal for pick-up to take it home and there've been many a family get-together that's been catered by Granny's. If you get a chance and you're in the area for whatever reason, Granny's is definitely a place to check out.
