I enjoyed this place.
I got a Western burger and French fries and they were great. I tried some of my sister's onion rings and they were just ok. We also got a slice of coconut cream pie and it was just ok. It wasn't bad, it just didn't taste like coconut.
But overall I like this restaurant and will go back if I'm ever in the area.
I've been told, since my visit, that this play has the best fried chicken for miles so now I must go back. We ventured in on a Sunday on the way home from a weekend on the Buffalo and it was last call for breakfast so I enjoyed a big breakfast of eggs, biscuit and gravy, sausage, hash browns and pancakes. Great service and the waitress talked me into a homemade cinnamon roll for the road. It was huge (I actually ate it for dinner that night)
Review Source:We were reluctant to stop because the building was a bit ramshackled but the lot was full. We took this as a good sign. Very country warm atmosphere and the service was incredibly friendly. We got the roast beef special with mashed potatoes and green beans and dinner roll. The food was very good (nothing extraordinary but we licked our plates clean) and the waitress gave us the homemade strawberry jam made by Granny herself to go with the rolls. So yummy. We topped it off with a slice of warm cherry pie a la mode. Quite delicious. Definitely worth a stop if you're passing through!
