Grant's Brewery Pub

Grants Brew Pub was fantastic. Too bad it was sold, moved and plowed into the ground. Bert is probably cussing from his grave about it. The pub was in downtown Yakima at the train station then, after they were evicted in 2004, it moved to the basement of a mall 50 blocks west of town. From there things went downhill fast.  By 2006 the place was closed.  About a year later, another owner resurrected the basement location and named it 'Bert's' in honor of Bert Grant, but the brewery is gone and the pub is in no way related to the original business.

We haven't been here yet but I long for the days when you could amble in to the Grants Brew-pub and sample his beers. I heard that he sold the place after it was moved.
