The restaurant is tucked behind some other buildings, but it's basically the southeast corner of Lake Mead and Buffalo.
It was not horribly busy when we showed up on a Friday night around 6:15p but it got busy fairly quickly. Â They only take reservations for parties of 6 or more.
It was pretty noisy, but I attribute that to people enjoying their dinner companions. Â :)
First of all, like some of the other reviews said, try the baked brie! Â It's awesome. Â
I had linguine and clams in white sauce and the hubs had one of the specials; braised ribs I think. Â Lots of clams on the pasta, the sauce was good. Â The braised rib roast was really good though, highly recommend. Â
We've been looking for a good Italian eatery and were very glad we tried Grape Street!
Can't wait to go back and try something else on the menu!
I have been coming to this restaurant for at least 14 years maybe longer and have never reviewed. Â It is time. Â This last time was with a friend for a belated birthday dinner. Â We had a 50 dollar coupon from http://restaurant.com. Â So we were definitely splurging. Â Started with a salad on the specials list, a dungeness salad with greens and mango salsa, we had them divide the plate between us. Â Delicious!!!! Â We had a a lovely Cava with the meal. Â Sooo good! Â
Dinner came with a soup or salad, we went soup since we had our salad already. Â Chicken curry, with lentils OMG the aroma alone was amazing. Â Difficult to not eat it all, but if I had I never would have finished dinner. Â We each ordered a fish special. Â Me the seared ahi, my friend an Alaskan halibut. Â The halibut was blackened with a spicy mango chutney. Â Ahi, seared with a soy ginger sauce, and a wasabi cream sauce. Â We each ate half and then switched. Â We both loved, both dishes. Â
Dessert was the fondue with fruit. Â YUMMMO!! Â Fabulous meal, great service... Â but a loser next to us who kept screaming at the waiter across the restaurant. Â The restaurant can't control it's patrons, but my goodness I was embarrassed for him and his entire table. Â Had to have screamed at the waitier and literally waved him down (arms flailing above his head) at least 10 times....... Â Grrrr!!!!
