Great 8 Diner and Bakery

There's very little to choose from in Kingwood so it was a treat to find this diner/bakery, open for breakfast as well. For about $5 we had 2 eggs, perfectly fried, a large piece of real ham and toast from homemade bread baked on the premises, and coffee. We could see the preparation in the back of pies for the day, what seemed to be a lemon meringue pie was piled at least 10 inches high with meringue. We took some cupcakes and apple pie with us, both gr8. Probably the only place for breakfast within miles, and definitely deserving of a visit.
