My first time here, and I was impressed with the place. It was clean, staff were polite, and it had a nice atmosphere.

I had a club sandwich which was really good and reasonably priced with fries (or other side) at $8.99 I believe. Cheaper elsewhere but not by much. The beer was a bit expensive, though, but they have a nice selection of Michigan drafts.

A negative though was live music so early. I'm OK with live music, but not so close to dinner time. I'm there to talk with my friends and family at dinner, not to have to shout over the music. Keep that stuff for later in the evening.

Decent restaurant with decent beer and decent food. Not a bad place to kill some time, but nothing too great.

This is one of the only non chain restaurants in the area surrounding Cabelas. Therefore, a must try for me.
At first glance of the menu, the sandwiches and entrees were pricy. I believe everything is over $10. Then in the bottom corner of the back page, they mention $6.99 lunch specials. There are no descriptions of the items; just a list of discounted entrees.
The fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had. Thank goodness I was having lunch with a talker, because I didn't stop eating until my plate was empty.
Service was great. The waitress was very attentive and knew the menu.

The food and service were just above good. Prices (for above good bar food) were high but they did have a great beer selection. I was staying across the street so My wife and I partook in the Great Lakes experience and like described above, the entire experience was just above good. I would go back if I was in the area, and I would recommend the place if you were in the area but I would not go out of my way to get there.

Went out with family though this place would be a good choice for dinner.  Have to say this trip was sad one . Just way over priced bland food.  Don't try the patty melt.   They had to work at it to make it this bad.  Even after I mentioned it to the waitress as to how bad it was being a seasoned waitress not a care in the world.   Your money will be well spent elsewhere.

Excellent sandwiches and great service.  Much better choice than the chain restaurants next door.  So good that we already stopped for a second visit in 2 weeks.

This place was terrible.  Vegetables out of a can, no meat on the sandwiches, and greasy fish.  Will not go back and I would never send someone there.  Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I visited this establishment with a friend for the first time last night.

My first impressions were that the prices were a little high. But I must admit that the food tasted excellent. I ordered the ribs. They were among the best ribs I have ever had. They were tender and moist, and literally fell off the bones when I went to pick them up. Additionally, the portion sizes were large.

My friend ordered a pulled-pork sandwich (I don't recall what it was named on the menu). Her food was very good, and her portion sizes were large too.

I enjoyed the beer selection. It was nice to have something available, other than the usual "Bud" & "Miller" beers found at so many other establishments.

I later had a chance to talk briefly with the owner. I mentioned my initial concern about the prices, but told him that I'll be back, as I am willing to pay a little more for good food.

Finally, they happened to have live entertainment last night too. It was a man playing acoustic guitar and singing. Though I'm usually not a huge fan of live music while I eat, this was nice. It wasn't too loud or distracting. The performer later mentioned to me that he is a regular, performing every Friday and Saturday evening for the last eight weeks.

Overall, my first experience at this restaurant was very good. The only blemish remains the slightly-higher-than-average prices.

My friends and I visited this resturant because we use to patronize the former establishment when it was there. The new place has really change things up inside as well the menu. The place is suppose to be a pub but looks like a diner and is really brite inside which is not an issue just weird for a pub.

The food I found a little high for the menu selections being offered. The place is not expensive by no means I just found that entree selections that are around 15.00 to 20.00 dollars should be more inspired as oppose to serving cottage cheese and fried pairings with the dinner entrees.

The place is great on the choices of drinks and prices which is nice added treat. The beers on tap were good options for my taste and were cold. The server was excellent and very pleasant and enthusiastic about working at the place. I would not skip this place if you're visiting Cabela's, drop in and have a beer or drink and skip the bar fried food.
