A friend told us about the wednesday night dollar per ounce ribeye special, comes with rice pilaf or fries and a very nice salad. Â They rolled over a cart with a whole slab of ribeye, cut off however many ounces you requested (and weighed it), they rub it down with your choice of 3 different kinds of rub, we went with the house blend, it was the best steak I've eaten that I didn't cook myself, yum...yum! Â Thanks for the info greg b.! Â Check out the picture I posted, it'll make you hungry!

I only give it 4 stars because of the kindness of the wait and bar staff.  Megan was delightfully sweet and made good suggestions, mostly for this slightly above average place. The prices are out of line with the location and the quality.  Worse - you may get there at a time that they "live music"?  Last Saturday night was the "TALENT show" and while one in three people were talented that's still a lot of music from the other 2/3's of the people that each had 3 chances (songs) to demonstrate to me and you that they should not be on that side of the stage.  Update:  Most of us know we should consume and not produce music or act.... but back to the food. Â
As for the food - Don't get too far off of the reservation here - Greek Brothers has lots of great sounding dishes but like the talent search - you will see that the kitchen obliterates "their version" of certain "fancy dishes". Â It you want fried shrimp, oysters or fish - "go for it" but the seafood is pricey for Wharton County. The same goes for steak and other well known dishes. Â The salads were good enough for a carnivore but the fancy shrimp dish of and mushroom dish aka - Shrimp Palmetto (means little palm - more like sweaty palms) was akin to Chung King (canned quality) Chinese. Â Warning like the music - 2/3's of the original Greek Brothers recipes were well not from professionals. BTW - I did not see anything Greek on the menu, except perhaps a salad. Â Cheers, Â Glenn,
