Green Gables

Passing through on interstate and stopped in for lunch. This is a great Italian spot for good no frills food. I ate at the bar, service was quick and friendly. I ordered a mixed plate of ravioli (meat/cheese) with a meatball and sausage and red sauce. Raviolis were real good, meatball was medium in size and tasted great. The hot Italian sausage was also very good and I thought the red sauce was perfectly simple. All in all a very good meal, nice atmosphere and great value! I will return

Passing through on our way south and decided to try a local spot. Big mistake. We were not welcome at this establishment. The food was only warmed -- not hot and fresh -- and lackluster for the price.  Skip this restaurant.

The food is mediocre. The pasta is absolutely drowned in sauce. The pizza was cool which means by no mean was it made fresh. And to top it all off, the people were absolutely awful. The server was passive aggressive bordering on just nasty. And when we were all done, we came out to a car with a giant wad of spit on the door. I can normally find something nice about and restaurant I go to but I was uncomfortable and felt unwelcome the whole time I was here. DO NOT STOP HERE! THEY DO NOT DESERVER YOUR BUSINESS!
