Green Top Cafe

A really grimy hole-in-the-wall. It's not the best bbq I've ever had, but maybe I just don't like Alabama style bbq. I like bbq with tons of sauce and spices cooked into it and this isn't it.

Green Top has good authentic Alabama BBQ.
Got the outside sliced pork plate with baked beans, cole slaw, and fries.
The meat is nicely smoked and they give you a good amount of it. The baked beans and cole slaw are both good, and the fries are better than average. The toasted buns that come with the meal are buttery and good too. My friend thought her tossed salad was too small but honestly it is not a salad kinda place. =) The desserts were not homemade so we skipped those.
The sauce is a little too vinegary for my taste but overall pretty good.
Off my normal path, but if I'm ever that way again I would go back.
