Grounded

Traveling from out of town to see where my dad grew up. Stopped at this little place and it was a perfect place for lunch. Great sandwich/soup/salad combo. Sandwiches are hearty and generous with the meat. Soups are soothing and the salads were healthy and tasty. House made cookies were also tasty.

Food  and service has gone downhill since expansion to Waters Edge.

If you want to experience great food, great atmosphere, you need to make the drive and check this place out! Especially if you are from small town Iowa. Usually, to find a menu selection like "Grounded" offers, you would need to go to Des Moines. Perfecto! Absolutely mouth watering delicious! Try one of their Italian dishes.
