We went on a dead Sunday evening for dinner...so we were pretty much the only ones there. Â Service was very good in this scenario. Â Corn Nuggets were good. Â Rolls, good. Â Roasted Garlic Mashed potatoes, great. Â Coleslaw, surprisingly tasty (hard to find good coleslaw in places). Â Their specialty...steak....disappointed. Â When they described how they seasoned them, I expected to be tasting a little more flavor than just a basic hunk of meat. Â I ordered a fillet...and don't feel I was actually eating a fillet. Â It was somewhat tough and had a hunk of fat I had to slice off (no good fillet I've ever had has had either of these qualities). Â I was hoping for better...I'd heard good things. Â But $18.95 for a 6oz fillet that I have to wonder if it was even a fillet that needed steak sauce added to it to give it some good flavor....I was disappointed. Â I'll be sticking with Alexander's and Johnny's for excellent steaks.
