Guiseppe's Pizzaria

I tried to keep an open mind about this place despite its unkept and neglected appearance inside. After all, every hole-in-the-wall, diner, and dive I've experienced had a charming and redeeming quality. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Trash was unswept and tables were dirty even though staff were sitting around doing nothing productive in an empty restaurant during dinner time. Perhaps the best part of this restaurant were the people who were pleasant enough. I thought it was neat how they make the pizza in front of you rather than in the back where you often can't see the staff work. Chicken wings were dry and lacked substantial meat. The pizza was in an equally unsatisfying state.

Stick with your gut: If you see a lack of maintenance in a restaurant's eating area, then it could indicate a lack of pride in the food they serve.

We stopped in on 6/18/13, not expecting to find good pizza in a village of 3000 people. The pizza was terrific. a selection of  6 kinds to choose from. New York style pizza. We had 3 slices -- mushroom & onion, garlic and pepperoni & sausage. All were very fresh and tasty. Service was excellent.
