Great fresh meats - deli, steaks, chicken, fresh made sausage (including an outstanding buffalo chicken sausage!!). They carry the bare necessities for produce, Â Costanzo Rolls and other great breads, and Burning Asphalt (local) products. Subs are out of this world. Keep up the good work guys!!
Review Source:The new owners of this business are trying hard, but sometimes their efforts fall short. The produce isn't looking the greatest lately, but their meats are great and moderately priced. There is normally a decent selection of fresh cut meat and sausage, which by the way is very good!
You can now get lottery tickets as well as misc items that you just have to have! For the local folks and the summertime residents it's certainly another source of grocery shopping and while you are at it - pick up a sub or two - they are very good.
The staff and owners are very friendly and really do want to become a permanent part of the community. The p[lace is clean and I'm sure as spring finally arrives - they will have better sources of food then you will find elsewhere.
As they improve and I know they will - I will revise my review!
Stopped in here on Tuesday. The in laws own a cottage in Hanford bay here and we decided to go to the beach there. Mother-in-law suggested we get subs from this deli here for lunch.
Good recommendation on her part. Now these were cold cut subs done at the deli counter of what is a small little store. I ordered two assorted subs. Which had some ham, turkey and capicola. These subs came meat stuffed, with everything fresh cut. Got Provolone with mayo and oil and they were good to go. A bit sloppy on the mayo and oil, but that's actually how I like my sub. So just a bonus for me.
Was able to get some other things like Troyer farms chips, Bison Chip dip, Webers Mustard. and some freezie pops while there too. Nice little store selection for a corner market.
Had decent cuts of steak and good produce prices too. Could definitely get an easy meal for grilling at the cottage if ya wanted.
