The breakfast is amazing and cheap. Â We have a yearly tradition in the spring where we show up early to get breakfast and head out on Corey Lake for some Crappie Fishing. Â We don't always catch fish but we always have a great breakfast. Â It's also nice to use their restroom because it's conveniently located right on the lake. Â It's literally the only business anywhere near the lake so I would imagine they do well in the spring, summer and fall. Â It doubles as a bar/game room at night.
Review Source:Happy Landing is a solid restaurant located right by Corey Lake. At the end of camping nearby, we always head to Happy Landing Cafe for brunch. Happy Landing is affordable with great food and takes cards and can split checks easily.
This round about a few of us had 4-egg omelets which were massive, I myself went for a country fried steak that had plenty of southern gravy that was mega rich. Â The salad bar is ok but needs more ingredients but comes with dinner dishes. Â Breakfast orders comes with toast.
If you are looking for a place to eat near Corey Lake, you won't go wrong with Happy Landing!
Hamburger OK. Salad bar OK. They need to turn the heat up. Everyone was complaining about how cold it was in there. They need to clean the place. Dusty animals and take Santa off the fireplace along with the garland, this is April. Go back, NO.
They apparently micro wave the potatoes. Then wrap them in foil for that Home Baked feel. Baked potatoes don't get this hard on the ends in an oven. I ordered a gin and tonic. I am not sure what I received. I think is was vodka and flat tonic.
