Hardee's commercials gross me out with the appeals to gluttony and tiny models pretending to eat gargantuan burgers, so I generally avoid the place.
But this location was convenient off I-95, so I tried the quarter-pound Little Jim Beam Bourbon Thickburger and three-piece hand-breaded chicken tenders to go.
The burger was plain and dry. If there was bourbon sauce on it -- whatever that's supposed to taste like -- I couldn't tell.
The chicken tenders taste better than the ones at McDonald's and Wendy's. The restaurant offers Texas Pete hot sauce for dipping, which is cool. But I'm an idiot and spilled it all over my car.
