Out of all the place we went in Aiken this was by far our favorite place we went to eat and have drinks at, so much so we came here two night! Â Being as I'm from the Pittsburgh area this place felt a bit like home with all the Steeler things on the wall, and the staff was extremely friendly. Â They made you feel like you were just in your home town bar with all your friends you've know for years. Â
On Friday we had dinner here which was amazing, loved the crab legs! Â After dinner we hung around for there karaoke night. Â Karaoke here was a lot of fun, all kinds of music genres touch through out the night. Â Great place to come for a night out with friends!
One of Aiken's best secrets! Â Well, actually, I think the secret is out!
Best seafood in town, especially if you like oysters and crab legs. Â From the outside, it looks like a place that should be listed on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" but the food is great, the prices fair, and it's always a good time. Â The staff is very friendly and the place is run by a father-son team who are very fun to talk with. Â And the customers are very varied...lol.
One day, you might think it's a biker bar, the next it looks like a Red Hat Society meeting...LOL. Â It's the only place in town to get "Yankee fish" (as the owner puts it) and I don't know who his supplier is but I've not seen oysters as big as the one's Harry serves anywhere else in the CSRA.
He serves up some great burgers, wings and good steak too; and don't forget some of his fish platter specials. Â I've seen a platter on the menu that had broiled fish, shrimp and more on it (way too much food for me lol).
My wife and I started eating here when he first started up and I had the pleasure of getting his first write-up in the local newspaper. Â Ever since then, he's been in the paper a few more times and the parking lot gets more and more crowded every time I drive by. Â I'd say by now that the 'secret is out' but it is still worth the effort to stop in and try the menu. Â The beer is always cold and the service is always friendly. Â
There is indoor and outdoor seating available and of course, you can always 'belly up to the bar' and hang out with the staff as you enjoy your meal. Â Try it...you might like it!
