Healy's Corner Restaurant & Bar

Uninspired menu but decent location and prices somewhat offset the negatives.  Taco shells are greasy and burgers are way overcooked.  Two different radio stations playing at the same time was especially annoying and distracting tonight.

Worst burger and fries I ever had. Got take out from there tonight. It was supposed to come with lettuce and tomatoe but instead, it was covered in salt and what can only be carbon from a filthy grill. The bottom of the bun was black and instead of medium well, the burger was rare. The fries were also very dark. Time to change the oil. They were also gray inside. Horrible.  Even the pickle was covered in a black, filthy mess.  After a couple of bites, I decided my health wasn't worth the risk.

Being fairly new to the area from Brooklyn, it became a mission to find a favorite bar/restaurant. Healy's has become the go-to! They have an awesome beer selection (big fan of the Brooklyn brews!) and I've never eaten anything there that I haven't loved! The main bartender, Jason, is fantastic! Very attentive and a really nice guy! We tried the Chipotle Carrot soup (sounds strange, I know) on his recommendation - delicious!! All of the staff are wonderful. And they have just started trivia nights on wednesdays - looks like we'll be hanging there twice a week now instead of just Saturday's =)
