Food was good - service not so much. We lucked out and got our food fairly fast. But we watched as at least 3 tables (2-4 diners per table), who were there long before we were, watched us and others get their food first. There was 1 waitress for the whole place! My pork roast was awesome but veggies were way overcooked. Â Topper was.....no toilet paper in ladies room. We won't be back.
Review Source:Walking in this place I was a little scared. The walls are all wood paneling, the table and chairs were old and dingy. It honestly looked like a place featured on Restaurant: Impossible. The menu looked pretty good, it had a little bit of everything. My family all ordered the all you can eat fried cod with salad bar and I had a burger and curly fries. The salad bar wasn't amazing but I picked a few items off of my mom's plate. The food was pretty fast and when it came out it was just off the grill. I was very pleasantly surprised with my food. The burger was great! The curly fries were crispy and hot. The plate was a little small and I was left a tad hungry afterwards but other than that the meal was excellent.
Don't be fooled by the exterior when you come in this place!
Food is not bad. Â I don't like how everything is ala carte (they charge 20 cents for lettuce/tomato). Â How bout you just include that in the price, and if someone doesn't want something they just hold it? Â Cottage cheese and coleslaw are $2 which seems high, as well as the bowl of soup. Â The salad bar (if you can call it that) is so tiny I'm not sure why they bother. Â The waitresses aren't always so friendly either. Â When they have specials, they add on the salad bar for $4 (which I think is nearly the same price as the salad bar by itself). Â Someone needs to work on the pricing for sure. Â Not a big restaurant by any means, so get in early so you can make sure you get a spot.
