Holiday Inn of Utica

Stayed one night earlier this week. Clean and quite but lacks amenities. Front desk girl nice but didn't offer any information. I had to ask about WiFi. I had to ask about restaurant. There was no literature in the room about local attractions or restaurants. The paper that listed the TV channels look liked it had been handled by the last 100 guests. For the price I expected a microwave and/or fridge.  The vending area only had ice and sodas; no snack machine. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. Didn't like that there was only a sheer curtain over the window. No way to draw the drape that was curiously only on one side of the window treatment. Oh yeah, I wasn't offered the chocolate chip cookie even though they were right there on the check-in desk. And don't know if there was complimentary breakfast or not. I would have had to ask about that too.

If I need to stay in the area again, would choose a different hotel and this would not be the first one I recommend to friends.
