Holidaze Restaurant & Lounge

I seriously do not get why the people in this town like this place. Seriously!!!! Maybe they like the billiards here and the jukebox. But the food and customer service sucks balls!!!

We had a burger and a sandwich, and it took forever to get to us. Waiting is tolerable if the food is great, but it wasn't. It was horrible. I would rather go to a McDonalds. The waiter is pathetic as well. He should be glad I'm nice because I still convinced my boyfriend to give him a 15% trip, instead of a 5% one. Horrible!!!

I have frequented Holidaze for about a year.  They make amazing nachos and have a nice beer selection.  They will make your burger to order (med rare!), and the fried stuff is good.  They even have oysters on the half shell.  It's a pretty versatile place for Hobbs and is a good part of town.  I certainly recommend it, go there!

I would give this a one star on food alone, but our server was nice.  We stopped here based on other Yelp reviews, but I have to wonder about them.  The food was awful, the decor is one of a lackluster 50's diner, and we were surrounded by a group of imbibed cackling women that were incredibly loud.  Food was greasy and had no flavor.  I'd suggest you look elsewhere when stopping in Hobbs.
