Hometown Pizza

In an area with somewhat limited options for dinning, this was perfect.  I've been living outside of DC for about a year and it was wonderful to get a pizza that tasted like pizza did when I was younger; doughy cheesey and savory (as opposed to the basically cardboard flat-breads that are so in vogue).  The vegetables (I got the veggie) were clearly fresh and just warm enough to really be sweet but with a savory crunch.  And if your looking for greasy pizza, this was NOT that.  In short, it wasn't gormet, but it was exactly what I was looking for; wholesome, delicious, fresh pizza.  

Plus the staff was a bunch of highschool kids and that reminded me of the pizza places all my friends worked at back home (in the best kind of way).

Good solid choice for  a place to eat if you are in the area. Good pizza (they make their own crust), sandwiches, and burgers. I think it is family run, the service has always been good. The dining area is a little cramped, and not much parking.

Hometown Pizza You are Wonderful. You have great pizza and awesome Italian sub sandwiches. I have to say the salads are the weakest point. I would like to choose Caesar dressing but no luck there. Self seating. Good wait staff. Very home townish feel.
