Perfect spot for dinner after a drive around Lake Livingston. We had our little chihuahua-mix dog with us, and the staff didn't even blink an eye when we asked if we could sit on the patio. Casual atmosphere, relaxing view of the lake, friendly service. I think we were there on a quiet weekend. Hardly any activity or people around or on the lake. We were tempted to order a very reasonably priced Steak for Two Dinner, but don't like our steak cooked the same way. So, my fiance ordered a ribeye dinner complete with corn on the cob, baked potato, roll, and trip the salad bar. Â I opted for the very fresh hand-dipped tasting fried oyster platter which also included a trip to the lackluster salad bar (no carrots?!?!). We'll be sure to visit again the next time we're in the area.
Review Source:We heard from friends about this place so decided to stop in tonight for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The fried shrimp were huge and perfectly cooked, as was the chicken fried chicken dinner. I would've given them five stars except that they had no tomatoes for the salads (wasn't a nearby grocery open all day?) and the mashed potatoes were from a box/bag. Homemade chocolate pie was good.
Review Source:Went there around 10pm on a Sunday. Bartender said there is usually a crowd but someone else in town was having a crawfish boil. On the weekends the music can be heard  from a distance away. I'll have to check back with them later to see if the bartenders story comes through then provide an update.
