Hoot 'N Annie's

I was up in Jackson working and decided to grab a quick lunch. The place was practically empty so I was expecting everything to go by fairly quick.  
The service was unbelievably bad. I was sitting down with my menu down and It took them a good 15 min to take my order.    The place was practically empty... Then after a whole 45 minutes they brought out the burger I ordered. But they messed that up too. They gave me cheddar instead of pepper jack cheese, I had specifically asked for, and the food wasn't all that great. Definitely not worth my time, money, or patience. A great place for anyone who wants to waste their time, though.

Great  bar because of the all the regulars that are around my age.  Seems to be the place to be for older folks.  

The food is awful.  It appears they use frozen food and just heat or grill it up and charge too much for it.  The salad bar is okay.

This is just a great, friendly place. We went up to Jackson one day and stopped here for lunch. We like the atmosphere, the menu, and the service right away.

We sat at the bar and noticed some regulars enjoying themselves. We got to chatting with the bartender. She gave some good advice on food and drinks. They have a great selection from salads to great comfort food.

The next day, we were heading home and it got to be dinner time. As we passed by looking for a place to stop, we decided to turn around and go back to Hoot 'N Annie's for dinner.

We sat at the bar again. Not only did they remember us, but they remembered our names. Too much good food. Wish this was my local bar.
