Hoskins Drug Stores

An old-time soda fountain and lunch counter, inside a still-operating pharmacy. Excellent burgers. It is worth a side trip just to see it.

Hoskins is a great place to visit and also eat. It instantly transforms you into the past and has an all-around good feeling about it. If I was rating the milkshakes and service alone I would easily have rated it a  5 but I had to drop it yo a 4 because of the portion size. I had the meatloaf and it was great but the size was equivalent to a frozen meal serving size... Definitely not enough for my 6 foot 6 frame but all-around a great little spot in the heart of Clinton.

This is a cute little drug store with an ice cream fountain.  We ordered a milk shake (which was a little too wet for our tastes) and an ice cream sundae with walnut syrup (which was really tasty).  For local flavor this is a nice stop.  We talked with some of the locals at the ice cream fountain and got a feel for the area.
