I'm a student at Waynesburg University and I used to frequent Hot Rods...

For the dollar beer only. Then they stopped that and I stopped going.

The food is overpriced and to be honest it's really mediocre. The owner Rod once got really drunk and tried to hit on my friend. The alcohol is overpriced and the bar is usually full of dirty coal miners who are just desperately trying to pick up the bar tenders. Once I went there and they were out of all their red meat and out of chicken wings... which is what they are most known for.

If you want a drink go to Tommy Boy's down the street and if you are hungry just get the kids chicken tenders.

Awesome place love the staff the owners the food and awesome entertainment on Friday nights.

We love this place. Great food, good service,  decent prices!  The Country Boy Salad is awesome with unsauced pulled pork. We use their homemade BBQ sauce for the dressing. The pork is always very lean!
