On our way to Niagara Falls, we stopped at this diner. Nothing really great about it, but also not bad. It's a small town hole in the wall place. Honestly, I will probably never be back there, but its not bad if you have to get a bite. Service is sort of slow, but its regulars speak highly of it, so they told me.
Review Source:From the outside, the diner doesn't look like much. Â The inside is old but pleasant and clean. Â We had angus beef burgers and hubby also had fries. Â The roll was really nice (could have been baked on premises). Â The waitress was sweet and attentive. Â The prices were extremely cheap. Â Not sure how we found the place but if you have occasion to find it, give it a shot!
Review Source:This diner is a TOTAL find.
Are you on Rte 81 and you want to go someplace for breakfast or lunch and you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere in Upstate NY?
Well, look no further. Â Stop by Hubbard's in Marathon for breakfast from 6am to closing time at 2pm. Â Lunch starts at 11.
You will not be let down. Â It's a three-person operation and while the diner is nothing fancy, the food is pretty darn good. Â They have a four-page menu, for crying out loud and the whole place doesn't seat more than 30. Â Breakfast is where it's at here. Â Don't miss out.
The food is good and the service is very personable. Â It closes by 2pm, so try to catch them early.
BTW, did I mention they make their own bread? Â Four kinds. Â Pretty awesome!
