Hugheswire Cafe

I absolutely love this place!  Jen M. gives a very good description, but for those of you who aren't local (I'm up in Atlanta):

I travel in south Georgia for business often and I have trouble finding places that a) have free wi-fi when I'm running early, b) have coffee when it is early, and c) have a neat atmosphere to hang out in when I need to kill some time.   I love this place for all of those reasons.  

The coffee is awesome, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the comfy welcoming interior gets an A+ in my book!

This is an awesome new little coffee shop! I love the interior because it is a renovated former bank and still has some old style bank features throughout.  The vault has been turned into a office and the bar looks like a teller line.  It is adorable!  Very clean and welcoming.  They also played some soft jazz music that was really pleasant to listen to while I enjoyed my coffee.  And free wifi!

The coffee was wonderful and they have a full selection of syrups including some sugar free options.  I also enjoyed a pumpkin muffin and saw there was a pretty big variety of breakfast style sandwiches which I will have to try.  There is a shelf full of snacks too if you're not in the mood for a pastry.

The staff was really friendly and made us exactly what we ordered. I was really impressed to find such an upscale looking coffee shop in the square.  From the outside you wouldn't really know it's there and it kind of catches you off gaurd when you walk inside.  In a good way!

I drive from Bama (on the stateline so really like 15 minutes, but still...) to come here over driving into Dothan to go somewhere else.  I am a coffee junkie and I am so glad to have found this place!

They are open M-F 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Sat. 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
