  I've eaten here 4 or 5 times and each time I'm more impressed.
  
  The food is always fantastic and the service is incredible....and this amazes me since the food and service in the rest of the building is absolutely horrible.   The Hunter's Club, however, is an island of pleasure in a sea of despair.
  
  The crab cake and shrimp appetizer is simply amazing and the lobster bisque is some of the best I've ever had (don't try it in the buffet because it totally sucks there).  The salads are great and I especially love the spinach bacon salad that is prepared table side.  As far as entrees, I've had a couple of their steaks (both great) and the jumbo shrimp (outstanding).
  
  What makes the food even better, though, is the incredibly friendly, professional and very efficient wait staff.  They are all very, very good.
  
  My work takes me to Fort Yates a few times a year and when staying at the Casino you are pretty limited as far as food options.  The buffet/restaurant food and service are poor and the bar food and service only slightly better.  But the Hunter's Club makes up for it - too bad  I can't afford to eat every meal there.

  I couldn't decide which of the local places I wanted to go to for my recent birthday dinner. My boyfriend suggested heading to the local casino and trying out their restaurant there; since I'm never one to turn down a casino, off we went!
  
  The Hunter's Club was fantastic. Great bread served at the table; an attentive (but not overly) server; steaks cooked just the way we asked for; appetizers and salads served quickly.
  
  We showed up in jeans and didn't feel out of place, even though the restaurant is the real deal with cloth napkins, table cloths, etc.
  
  The only downsides were the ginormous plates that overpowered the table, and those annoying u-shaped booths that require you to slide all the way in if you want to hear your dinner companion.
