My husband and I took a couple grand kids here while on vacation. The service was great! Our waitress, Andrea, was so quick and very friendly. It was our first time here. We will be back. The food was delicious. We got the appetizer sampler and the only thing I didn't care for was the egg rolls. We loved the wings, onion rings, chicken balls and my husbands steak was cooked to perfection. Good food and grand kid friendly! Our kind of place!
Review Source:Horrible Service. Our waitress, Candice is Slow (maybe its her first day)! Ask for David when you come. He was really good and waited on us even though he wasn't our waiter. He was just very observant. For that, I give Iggy's three stars. They would have only got one star. David saved them!
Review Source:My six year old son and I ate at this restaurant in Aug 2012. I thought there were a few areas that required some management attention, and therefore when we returned home I looked up Iggy's Sports Grill online, found the 'Contact Us' e-mail address (which is specific to each of the Chain's restaurants) and sent them my concerns. After more than a month had gone by after I sent my e-mail with no acknowledgment whatsoever, I attempted to find a corporate e-mail address where I could send my concerns. It appears Iggys Corporate isn't looking for comments because they've made it just about impossible to contact them. I may have found an e-mail address via the BBB, but that e-mail, sent Sept 2012, went unacknowledged as well. I can't fault Iggy's for that though, since I cannot confirm that it was their corporate e-mail address.
In my e-mail I wasn't asking for anything from Iggy's, but I do expect an acknowledgment when a customer raises a concern, even if it is just a generic "Thanks for your input' response. Overall for the location, atmosphere, food and drink, I'd rate Iggy's Sports Grill in St. George, Utah 3 out of 5 stars for it's generic chain-restaurant style food (come on, there are many healthier salad greens out there than iceberg lettuce that made up 80% of my Oriental Chicken Salad). Given the apparent lack of management concern to customer issues, I'm reducing my rating to 2 stars out of 5.
Below is a copy of the e-mail that I sent on 27 August 2012 to Iggy's Sports Grill at their "Contact Us' e-mail address.

Mr. Painter,
My son and I ate at your establishment back on the 17th of August, and I have a few issues I wanted to bring to your attention.
When the server returned after initially giving us our menus, she asked what we would like to drink. I was undecided about which draft beer to order, so I asked her if the Uinta Hefeweizen was a German or American style Hefeweizen. She said she didn't know, then she gave a slight smile, cocked her head to the side like a puppy, and stood there staring at me. OK, I thought to myself, maybe that's too much of a subtlety for a server to know, but German and American style Hefeweizens are two very different approaches to that style of beer. So, I changed gears and asked what kind of beer the Uinta Cutthroat was, since there was no beer style associated with the name. Again, her answer was to once again say "I don't know", smile, and cock her head off to the side and stare at me.
I think you need to educate your servers a little better, not just in terms of the menu items you offer, both in terms of food and beverages, but also in how to handle questions they don't know the answer to. The proper response would have been to say "I don't know, but I'll go find out for you" or to offer to bring a sample of the beverage in question (provided that is legal in your area) so that the customer can taste it for themselves and make an educated decision rather than a blind guess.
Lastly, when I asked my six year old son if he wanted juice or milk with his dinner and he briefly hesitated, suddenly the server had some advice to offer and asked if he'd rather have fruit punch. If a parent is trying to steer a small child to a few select choices, it would be very helpful if your servers didn't attempt to steer the child in another direction, let alone a less healthy direction.
I will say you have a beautiful restaurant, and in an excellent location. Maybe my experience was an aberration, but I do think there is room for improvement.
