  Great spot to stop as you drive through the beautiful Adirondacks. Extensive menu, great prices. Loved the duck wings and homemade egg rolls, both crispy on the outside, tender and delicious inside. Sauces were amazing. My husband devoured their special prime rib sandwich. Only downside was the lack of attention from our waitress. She seemed annoyed to be at work. I would still recommend, because the food is so good.

  Ate at the bar, same menu as restaurant.  Bar is huge, wooden, shipped from Princeton in 1930s.  Home made meatloaf & mashed was great -- hit the spot after a big day hiking.

  Driving through stopped for a bite, friendly staff, great menu, cold beer; something for everyone. Food was fresh and delicious. Tons of excellent choices on the menu. Enjoy!

  What a simply amazing little place. In the middle of what's called Downtown this tavern even has is own attached liquor store. The staff was very busy with all of us leaf peepers. Walking in thru the bar (main enterance is on the street) we weaved our way in the dining. The first thing that struck us like an upper cut to the nose was the smell of culinary delights cooking! We strolled over to the main door the whole time eyes focused on the fireplace in the front dining room. It was a cute little place packed with locals and peepers alike. We were told it would be 10 minutes before they could seat us and it wasn't a minute past that. They were a bit frazzled as they had a large part of overseas tourist with large parties paying with separate checks.
  
   I had the Duck Drummies with Blueberry BBQ sauce. They came with green beams and smashed potatoes. The plate arrives and I promised myself to only eat 2 of the 6 Drummies! Promise broken! They were so good, deep fried I perfection and when dipped in the Blueberry BBQ Sauce all my will power was gone! I would drive back up just to have lunch or dinner.
  
   So next time you are up north stop in and give it a try. You won't be able to check in cause there is no cell phone service what so ever!
