There are many good pizza places in metro Cleveland, but The Italian Garden in Burton, OH is TRULY good pizza. Â Our family makes the 15 minute trip almost weekly to Burton to have dinner here. Â The menu is extensive, but because the pizza is so good its about all we get other than garlic cheese bread and salads, which are also fantastic. Â Their dough tasts andf feels home made and the quality and quantity of toppings on the pizza is unlike most pizza places. Â The Italian Garden in Burton is not fancy, but is clean and cozy and with great service. Â We'll keep coming back!

Hey - I make my own (kickass) pizza at home with my own sauce and dough made from scratch. Â So I'm pretty picky about eating pizza from anywhere else these days. Â But on a whim we stopped at The Italian Garden on our way home and must admit we were thoroughly impressed with the Chicago Deep Dish Pizza ($18, 8 slices) here and would order it again! Â Thick with mozzarella and toppings, the crust was not your typical pizza shop dry, oven-burnt crust but quite delicious with a buttery flakiness to it - yum!
Lots of other stuff and variety on the menu, too: fried chicken, subs, calzones, salads, wings, various appetizers and homemade desserts.
Customer service is great, too!
Delivery and phone-in takeout are available and both were quite busy while we were there. Â Delivery charge runs $1.50 to $3.00 depending on distance.
Located on the east side of Burton's town square, this is the third The Italian Garden in addition to the stores in Mantua and the original in Garrettsville. Â It replaces the former Joel's and Burton Grill - former incarnations of the same building.
Great hometown pizza shop and a welcome return to this location!
