We just stopped here  on a whim  and we were hungry.  We had the roast pork sandwich,  was very, very tender  and delicious.  It was the  most tender roast pork sandwich we have ever had!   Great comfort food.  We were sorry we didn't have room for desert.   Stop there if you are in the area.
Review Source:Reuban sandwich came with no dressing on it. That's just the way they serve it. After adding it on, the sandwich was fine. We also had the chicken cordon bleu, which was moist and tender. Overall good quality home cooked food. Nothing fancy, just a nice meal. Service was slow and mediocre though with not a lot of diners ins the restaurant.
Review Source:Call it a "greasy spoon" if you like but I think that demeans a great family restaurant. The food is outstanding for the price. Â It is clean and friendly. Â OK, you wouldn't want to go there for your anniversary or Prom Night, and you will not find candlelight or white-starched tablecloths, but it is a "favorite" Â of mine and we have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in the western hemisphere over thirty years..
You might hear "OK, honey, what would you folks like tonight?" Â Great Friday night fish fries, fresh desserts, etc. Â I've been told the burgers are hot and fresh. Â Highly recommended.
My fiance and I stopped by here for lunch and it was very good classic diner food! Â Reasonably priced, too, which makes me even more happy. Â I just wish we had room for dessert because almost every table ordered a slice of pie! Â They make deep-fried cheese curds and homemade potato chips but I didn't try b/c I only ordered the chicken salad and split pea soup for lunch. Â My fiance had the bratwurst burger and fries and he said they were delicious. Â Menu had a lot of homestyle comfort food that I wish I could have explored!
