I don't think you don't accidentally end in Paris, MO. But there are things happening in this small town worth checking out.  I heard good comments' about Jac's from friends and took the chance to bring my big family along for an investigation.  What a delight! This place starts out friendly looking and just keeps giving reasons to like it.  Hospitable waitress (1) brings us the delicate warm chips (2) and salsa which I could taste just taste via the fragrance of fresh ingredients(3). We ordered a range of items from Chicken Taco salad(4) in a perfectly fried shell (5) to my amazing hand-breaded (6)tenderloin with grilled onions (7,8,9,10...). You get the idea. My sandwich was in the top five of tenderloins I've had in the past 40 years. Thicker, (not the usual size of Kansas portion that I typically love) but tender and with ample flavor to bypass the use of condiments. The sauteed onions could have nestled solo between the toasted buns and comprised a  very respectable sandwich. See my photos for the other five thousand words.
Meeting the owners capped off the visit. Â They are helping to revitalize this small town by means of entrepreneurship. They own a beauty shop, a hardware store and I forget what else. You can feel the strength of hard work in their handshakes and see the pride of a job well done in their eyes.
