  Is it supposed to be a joke, listing this place as a restaurant?
  
  This is a small, run-down BAR in a small, run-down town.  Service on a Tuesday night was slow, even with just a few tables filled.  The crab dip appetizer we tried was decent enough, though the steaks we received could have passed for well done, when we ordered medium-rare.  Prices weren't high, but definitely too high for the mediocre food we received.
  
  We made the mistake of trying again on a weekend night.  The entire place reeked of alcohol, and the noise level had me wishing I'd brought ear plugs.  We left without even trying to order and haven't been back since.
  
  Nothing wrong with bars.  I'm sure Jambalayas is a nice enough place to go have a drink, if that's what you're after.  But steakhouse?  Cajun?  Please.  Either build a proper restaurant or stop trying to pretend you're something you're not.
