There's only one place in Oregon that serves up a Frog Burger and that's the Jersey Lilly Tavern. It takes about five Pacific tree frogs to fill up the bun but it's considered a green food source.
In reality, the frog burger contains two quarter-pound burgers, American cheese and two strips of pepper bacon and Hollandaise sauce. What a work of beauty.
Has over 15 beers on tap, including NW micro-brews. Bar food, live music, outdoor seating, pool tables, and video poker. Their specialty hamburger is the Frog burger people come from all over to have one. Â The tavern gets very busy at weekend and nights, so the service gets a bit sparse, but the food and good times usually makes up for it.
Review Source:Ok. This place is a tavern. A tavern with the best burgers and craft beer selection in town. Their Frog Burger is famous in these here parts, y'all.
The back patio is mainly there for smokers but in the spring and summer that's where I relax with my pint of Oatmeal Stout or whatever IPA or hoppy mess is on tap.
There's a pool table and a pinball machine and a jukebox (a modern one) and some lotto machine things if you're into that, which I'm not.
The service is decent, though Fridays at noon are usually very busy. They have a drink special every day that's pretty reasonable, though I had to ask for an extra shot in the Rum and Coke special. But maybe that's me. I like to taste the alcohol in mxed drinks. That reminds me, Christina made me a kick-ass White Russian once. And a Bloody Mary. She's not there any more, which is too bad, but they have a few other bartender/servers that do just great.
The outside of the building has an old west feel going on. This is one of my top 3 hangouts. Great beer! Great burgers!
